Danish
The DanDiaSyn recordings have been transcribed to standard Danish orthography.

Faroese

Icelandic
The 2013 recordings have been transcribed to standard Icelandic by Þorbjörg Þorvaldsdóttir, the 2015 transcriptions by Ingólfur Eiríksson.

to standard Icelandic by Gísli Rúnar Harðarson.

Norwegian
The Norwegian recordings are transcribed in two ways, one standard orthographic Norwegian Bokmål and one phonetic transcription. (The transcription guidelines.) The recordings were first transcribed by human annotaters phonetically. Subsequently the phonetic transcription was translated by a semi-automatic fashion using the Dialect Transliterator specially developed at the Text Laboratory. (Translation guidelines)
